Comfort Hotel Yamagata - Yamagata (Yamagata)

My recent one-night stay was perfect for exploring the region. The location is excellent, just a three-minute walk from the station, making it easy to visit attractions like Yamadera and Mount Zao. The breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared, and the friendly staff went above and beyond to assist us, even providing allergen information. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and ideal for families, and the coin-operated laundry was a convenient bonus.

I truly enjoyed good sized room, it had a nice bed, a fridge, an electric kettle, and a microwave oven. And it included a nice bathroom. The staff was attentive, amicable, and responded promptly to requests...

Very amiable people working here, exceptionally comfortable place. The rooms with the bathroom. Breakfast with juice, Japanse fare plus veggies.

I had a great stay at Comfort Hotel during my transit from Tokyo. The location was perfect, just a few minutes from the station, which made it easy to catch my bus to Zao ski. The room was clean, equipped with everything I needed, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. Breakfast exceeded my expectations, with plenty of delicious options. The staff was friendly, helping with English communication and even allowing me to send my ski bag a few days early.

Limited facilities 🏨, no major complaints!

Extremely spacious rooms with exceptionally comfortable beds and wake-up service. Particularly nice view from our window. Prime comfy location, nice to relax in after a long day of sightseeing. Right by Yamagata train station and bus terminal, and Kajo park and 御殿堰 where there are nice cafes.

I loved the room, the bed was nice. A shower, hairdryers and a bidet was a plus.

This hotel is super close to the JR station, just a few minutes away. The staff are friendly and really accommodating. The room was a good size and had all the basic amenities we needed. Breakfast was pretty good too, with a nice mix of Western and Japanese options, along with some coffee and juice.

The lift can be a bit slow during busy times.

I was shocked by how rude the breakfast staff were. We were just a few minutes late and the lady acted like we committed a crime. No sitting allowed, so we ended up having to eat in our room. Seriously frustrating!

I had a good stay at Comfort Hotel Yamagata with my 10-month-old daughter. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the station and close to restaurants. We appreciated the coin laundry and found nearby landmarks, like Yamagata Castle and the Prefectural Museum, great for family bonding. excellent value and convenience!

The location was lit, right by the JR station, making our trips to Zao and the local hangouts a breeze! We kicked back with some friends in our comfy room and hit the complimentary breakfast every morning. Low-key vibes and easy check-ins made it all so chill!

One thing though, they should really amp up the entertainment options. A few more cable channels would have been awesome for late-night hangouts!
